This years winter solstice has always been know for the Shortest Day and Longest Night of the year. Well this year is a little special, and depending on where you are on the Northern Hemisphere you might just get a show.  We get a full moon and a wonderful Meteor shower. If you're wondering how special, they call this a Cold Moon. It is so close to the solstice, it will be 2029 before it happens again. So it's not a once-in-a-lifetime event, but still, you don't see this too often. Ursids meteor shower might just be out shined by a Cold Moon. Either way this is just a wonderful night to start the stargazing and I could imagine how brilliant the sky will shine under some fresh white snow. So Happy Holidays and Have a Wonderful New Year. Happy Winter Solstice everyone!
