April Showers Bring May Flowers
Planting flowers or putting potted flowers out can give your home a pop of color and give your home some pretty curb appeal. Look for flowers that suit the amount of sun the area gets for your flowers. Some flowers like it damp, some like to be soaked and drain out, some like very little water. Plants will have a care chart for the amount of sun and water. Some like shade, some like full sun. Watch the area throughout the day where you are wanting to put flowers to see how much sun they get. Painting your front door can add a pop of color for curb appeal also. Shrubs and different height plants and flowers add depth and height to the space. Nice flower beds and even backyard gardens can be appealing to buyers. Think about maintenance of the area and ask your local nursery for some great tips to help keep a weed free flower bed from the start, like garden tarping and fresh soil, plant and add mulch. Mulch can come in different colors to compliment the space. Lots of plants can deter pests like mosquitoes and spiders. Lavender and Mint is one of my favorites to keep bugs away without out chemicals. There is also a best time to plant. Like today, overcast and rained in the morning. The ground opens up and is less hard and transplanted plants enjoy a fresh shower. So when preparing your home for Sell, Don't forget the curb appeal and how your home looks as potential buyers first impression is going to be the outside. Draw them inside with a beautiful yard and landscaping.
